Kafo launches 5 metre wide double column RV-5152 exhibiting at TIMTOS
Kafo have been hard at work in 2021 developing new machines and extending the existing range of machines including big seller, double column machining centres.
Taiwan is currently the world’s 4th largest manufacturer of machine tool and this years show is centred on the ‘Made In Taiwan’ for quality, taking place in Taipei on 21st February 2022 for 6 days. Kafo will be showing four new models at TIMTOS, the exhibition including one of the biggest machines on display, the new 5 metre between columns Kafo RV-5152 double column machining centre. An absolute beast of a machine and will generate a lot of interest for anyone wanting to span 5 metres.

At the time of writing, this machine is available for sale and delivery after the show. Normally a machine of this size would take up to 10 months to supply but you could take delivery of this machine in April 2022, first come first served.
A new selection of programmable heads are also available with this machine. Kafo have managed to make them more compact, rigid and more accurate than their already very successful range of programmable heads.

Other machines on the Kafo stand will be SCV-5 vertical machining centre.

A very high speed drill tap centre/machining centre. Available with BT30 or BT40 and RPM up to 24,000 direct driven or built in spindles. A very compact machine with a good size 650x420mm table. Designed mainly for the electronics sector.
The CV range of vertical machining centres have also been updated to include a new full 5 axis simultaneous machining model.
