TDT Machine Tools expands sales team with the addition of a machine tool veteran

TDT Machine Tools are pleased to announce we have strengthening the company’s sales team with the appointment of Jaison Toon, who has over 30 years’ experience in the machine tool sector.

Jaison has been appointed to promote Lagun universal bedmills, You Ji vertical lathes, Kafo double column mills and the larger machines from the Feeler range as part of TDT’s focus on large capacity heavy duty machines in the Midlands and the North of the UK.

Jaison arrives at TDT following extensive periods at a number of established machine tool companies. His track record is highly regarded, making him the ideal representative to strengthen market position for TDT in parts of Central England and the North.

Jaison’s last position mainly comprised of promoting specialist tooling but with his move to TDT  Jaison said, “I’m ready to meet up with all my old customers now I’m back selling what I know best, machine tools.”

“TDT’s emphasis on large capacity milling and turning is my key focus,” says Jaison. “Machines of this size and quality, create a lot of interest.”. “I’ve come across TDT in my previous roles and only heard great things about the machines and the company.”

TDT have been on the lookout for an experienced machine tool salesperson with a time served engineering background, someone who is understands the customers engineering needs before discussing the machine. Engineers prefer to speak with engineers when looking for a new machine for a project, TDT Sales Managers visit a customer with an engineers head on first, salesman second.
